Starting the Engine:
- Lock parking brake and ensure transmission is in neutral.
- Turn fuel valve and ignition switch ON.
- Turn engine stop switch to RUN.
- Set choke lever to half choke (cold engine) or full choke (very cold).
- Press starter button.
Shifting Gears:
- Release parking brake.
- Close throttle and raise gearshift pedal to shift into SL (super low).
- Release brake lever and increase engine speed.
- Release throttle to shift to higher gears.
Braking:
- Front brakes: Squeeze front brake lever (right handgrip).
- Rear brakes: Depress brake pedal or squeeze rear brake lever (left handgrip).
- Parking brake: Squeeze rear brake lever and lock it with lock lever.
