To Start a Wash Cycle:

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the washing machine.
  2. Load laundry and close the door.
  3. Set the WASH CYCLE knob to the desired program.
  4. Set the washing TEMPERATURE using the knob.
  5. Set the SPIN SPEED using the knob.
  6. Add detergent and washing additives to the dispenser drawer.
  7. Select desired FUNCTIONS, if needed.
  8. Press the START/PAUSE button to begin the wash cycle.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible causes / Solutions
The machine does not switch on.
  • The appliance is not plugged in properly.
  • No power to the socket or fuse blown.
The wash cycle does not start.
  • Door not closed properly.
  • ON/OFF button not pressed.
  • START/PAUSE button not pressed.
  • Water tap not turned on.
The machine does not fill with water.
  • Water inlet hose is kinked or disconnected.
  • Water pressure too low.
  • Water tap not turned on.
  • No water supply.
  • Inlet valve filter blocked.
  • START/PAUSE button not pressed.
The machine continuously fills with water or water left in drum.
  • Drain hose too low.
  • Drain hose incorrectly connected to sink trap.
  • Drain hose pushed too far down standpipe.
The machine does not drain or spin.
  • Pump filter blocked.
  • Drain hose kinked.
  • Blanking cap or spigot not removed.
  • Drain hose or sink trap blocked.
  • Wash cycle does not include draining.
  • REDUCED CREASES function activated.
The machine does spin.
  • "Spin Speed” selector knob is in the “J” position.
The machine does not heat or poor wash results.
  • 'Temperature' selector knob is in the “” position.
The programme takes too long.
  • Programme times vary due to water pressure, temperature and load balance.
The machine vibrates a lot during the spin cycle.
  • Feet not adjusted.
  • Transit Bolts or Packaging not removed.
  • Machine trapped between cabinets/walls.
  • Load out of balance.
The machine is noisy.
  • Motor, pump and drum noise during spin is normal.
The machine wont spin properly.
  • Out of Balance detected, machine will redistribute load.
The machine leaks from the dispenser.
  • Dispenser drawer blocked.
  • Water pressure too high.
  • Machine tilting forwards.
The machine leaks (other than dispenser).
  • Fill hose loose or leaking.
  • Drain hose not fixed properly.
The indicator lights on the console are flashing rapidly.
  • Switch off and on again, if problem persists contact Technical Assistance.
The machine smells.
  • Requires a service wash.
The machine door cannot be opened.
  • Door will open when door lock indicator light goes out.
Door Seal damaged at the bottom.
  • Drainage holes at the bottom - This is normal.
The water level is too low when the machine is washing.
  • Water level is correct if it can be seen at the bottom of the door.
There is too much foam.
  • Detergent not suitable for machine washing or too much detergent used.
After completing the programme, or before starting a programme, the machine has turned itself off (no lights).
  • Automatic standby system activated, press 'ON/OFF' button for 3 seconds.
