STARTING: Refer to the ENGINE manual for engine operation instructions.

CLEARING SNOW:

  1. Start the engine and ensure the path is clear.
  2. Adjust the chute outlet.
  3. Engage the auger control handle.
  4. Set speed and direction using the control lever.
  5. Engage the drive control handle and direct the snow thrower.

STOPPING:

  1. Engage auger for 30 seconds to clear snow.
  2. Stop the auger.
  3. Set engine switch to OFF.
  4. Remove snow from the snow thrower.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Engine Fails to Start (Engine cranks over) Engine ignition switch in OFF position Position engine ignition switch to ON
Engine Fails to Start (Engine cranks over) Spark plug wire disconnected Connect wire to spark plug

Engine runs erratic, stalls or seems low on power Fuel incorrect, old or stale Empty and clean fuel tank & carburetor, refill with fresh, clean gasoline.
No forward or reverse drive movement when drive handle engaged Drive belt loose or damaged Check drive belt tension pulley for damage or incorrect tension, repair as necessary. Replace drive belt.
