Warranty Summary
The FE4A and FE5A fan coils are designed to operate with a communicating User Interface. They provide airflow at a rate commanded by the User Interface, typically around 350 CFM/ton. The User Interface adjusts airflow based on operating modes for optimal system performance and comfort. These fan coils are specifically designed for Puron® (R-410A) refrigerant systems and are not compatible with standard thermostats except in emergency situations. Key features include modular construction for easier installation, and compatibility with factory-authorized electric heater packages. For horizontal installations, proper drainage and water management considerations are important. The system is designed for quiet operation and efficient performance within its specified capacity range.
Status Code | Problem |
---|---|
45 | CONTROL BOARD TEST FAULT: Fan coil control has failed internal start-up tests and must be replaced. |
37 | HEATER OUTPUT SENSED "ON" WHEN NOT ENERGIZED: Fan coil control detects a 24VAC signal on heater outputs when it's not supplying signal. |
44 | MOTOR COMMUNICATION FAULT: Fan coil control cannot communicate with the blower motor. |
25 | INVALID MOTOR / MODEL SELECTION: Incorrect or invalid motor size data detected. |
27 | INVALID OUTDOOR UNIT SIZE: Invalid outdoor unit size detected. |
26 | INVALID HEATER SIZE: Invalid electric heater size detected. |
36 | HEATER OUTPUT NOT SENSED WHEN ENERGIZED: Fan coil control energizes heater but does not detect 24VAC signal on output. |
41 | BLOWER MOTOR FAULT: Blower motor fails to reach or maintain speed. |
16 | SYSTEM COMMUNICATION FAULT: System communications are not successful. |
46 | BROWNOUT CONDITION: Secondary voltage of the transformer falls below 15VAC. |
53 | OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR FAULT: OAT sensor is open or shorted. |
