Hotplate Burners Operation:
  • Press the igniter button.
  • Push and turn the control knob to the high flame symbol.
  • Hold knob pressed for 10 seconds.
  • Adjust flame by turning knob clockwise.
Oven Operation:
  • Set the clock to the time of day.
  • Turn the oven knob to the desired temperature.
  • Oven indicator light glows until temperature is reached.
Grill Operation:
  • Open the grill door and pull grill pan forward.
  • Adjust heat with control knob (clockwise for full grill, counter-clockwise for half grill).
  • Preheat grill for 2 minutes.
  • Slide grill pan back into chamber.
  • Never close grill door when grill is on.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause and Solution
Hotplate/Cooktop ignition or hotplate burners faulty Is power on? Check power supply, sparker/burner slots for blockage, burner trim/caps location.
Hotplate/Cooktop burners will not light Check burner parts replacement, gas supply, and burner sparking.
Steam is coming from the oven Normal for high water content foods; stand back when opening door.
Food is cooking too slowly, too quickly, or burning Check temperatures, shelf positions, baking tray size; adjust settings to taste.
The oven is not cooking evenly Avoid oversized baking trays, turn large items, ensure heat circulation, check door seal and level.
Oven not coming on Check power, clock illumination, isolator switch, time of day setting, key symbol lock.
Timed oven not coming on in automatic cooking Ensure oven knob is not in OFF, and 'AUTO' is displayed.
Oven temperature getting hotter as cooker gets older Thermostat may need replacement by a qualified person.
Oven light is not working Bulb likely burnt out; replace with 15W - 230V oven bulb.
The oven door is misaligned Adjust bottom hinge of oven door.
The fascia gets hot when I use the oven or grill Cooling fan may have failed; contact qualified personnel.
