Warranty Summary

Rangemaster warranty covers defective workmanship and materials for 1 year, with an additional 12 months upon registration.

Hotplate Burners:

  • Press igniter button.
  • Push and turn control knob to high flame.
  • Adjust flame by turning knob counter-clockwise.

Grill:

  • Open grill door.
  • Pull grill pan forward.
  • Turn control knob clockwise for full grill, counter-clockwise for half grill.
  • Preheat grill for 2 minutes.
  • Slide grill pan back into chamber.

Ovens:

  • Set the clock to time of day.
  • Turn oven knob to desired temperature.
  • Oven light indicates when temperature is reached.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause and Solution
Hotplate ignition or hotplate burners faulty Is power on? Is clock illuminated? Check power supply. Check sparker/burner slots for blockage. Ensure burner trim/caps are correctly located.
Hotplate burners will not light Ensure burner parts replaced correctly. Check gas supply. Do burners spark? Verify power is on (clock illuminated).
Steam is coming from the oven Normal when cooking high water content foods. Stand back when opening oven door.
An oven fan is noisy Normal; fan note may change as oven heats up.
The knobs get hot when I use the oven or the grill Normal due to rising heat. Do not leave oven door open. Ensure grill pan is pushed back. Always grill with grill door open.
Food is cooking too slowly, too quickly, or burning Cooking times may vary. Check recommended temperatures/shelf positions. Oven settings are guide only. Adjust temperature to taste.
The oven is not cooking evenly Do not use oversized baking trays. Turn large items during cooking. Ensure space for heat circulation between shelves. Check door seal and adjustment. Verify cooker is level.
Oven not coming on Is power on? Is clock illuminated? Check isolator switch. Has time of day been set? Is key lock symbol displayed?
