The Renogy Rover 40A is designed for ease of use. Operation is summarized as follows:

Indicator Troubleshoot
PV indicator Off during daylight Ensure PV wires are correctly and tightly secured and poles are correctly connected.
BATT Indicator White Slow Flashing Disconnect loads and let PV modules charge battery. Check battery voltage for improvement.
BATT Indicator White Fast Flashing Check battery voltage, verify it is not exceeding 32 volts.
Load Indicator White Fast Flashing The Load circuit is shorted or overloaded. Ensure device is properly connected and does not exceed 20A (DC).
