Warranty Summary

WEIDER warrants the 8530 home gym to be free from defects in workmanship and material for one year from the purchase date.

Changing Weight Setting: Insert the Weight Pin to adjust the desired resistance level.

High Pulley Station: Attach Lat Bar or Nylon Strap to the Medium Cable using a Cable Clip. Use a Chain for length adjustment if needed.

Low Pulley Station: Attach Lat Bar or Nylon Strap to the Short Cable using a Cable Clip. Use a Chain for length adjustment if needed.

Attaching/Removing Seat: Set the Seat Frame bracket onto the Front Upright pins and secure with Carriage Bolt and Seat Knob.

Attaching Leg Lever: Ensure the seat is attached. Connect the Leg Lever to the Low Pulley Station using a Chain and Cable Clips.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Slack in Medium and Short Cables
  • Tighten the 1/4" Nylon Locknut (2) on the Short Cable (23) at the Long ā€œUā€-Bracket (57).
  • Move the 3 1/2" Pulley (15) to the other hole in the Long "U"-Bracket (57).
  • Tighten the 1/4" Nylon Locknut (2) on the Medium Cable (58) at the Small "U"-Bracket (71).
Slack in Long Cable
  • Tighten the 1/4" Nylon Locknut (2) on the Long Cable (72) at the Small "Uā€-Bracket (71).
  • Move the "V"-Pulley (50) to another hole in the Squat Arm Upright (56).
Cable slips off pulleys
  • Cable may be twisted. Re-install the cable.
  • Replace cables if needed (see ordering replacement parts).
