Step-by-step Console Operation:

  1. Insert the SAFEKEY fully into the power switch.
  2. Press the ON/RESET button.
  3. Reset the speed control and start the walking belt.
  4. Measure your pulse if desired using the pulse sensor.
  5. Monitor your progress with the displays (TIME/DISTANCE, SPEED, CAL/PULSE).
  6. When finished, stop the walking belt and remove the SAFEKEY.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
THE POWER DOES NOT TURN ON a. Ensure power cord and surge protector are correctly plugged in.
b. Check that the SAFEKEY is fully inserted.
c. Reset the circuit breaker if tripped.
THE POWER TURNS OFF DURING USE a. Reset the circuit breaker if tripped.
b. Ensure power cord is plugged in.
c. Reinsert the SAFEKEY fully into the console.
THE WALKING BELT SLOWS WHEN WALKED ON a. Use a UL-listed surge protector.
b. Loosen the walking belt if overtightened.
THE WALKING BELT IS OFF-CENTER OR SLIPS WHEN WALKED ON a. Center the walking belt by adjusting the rear roller bolts.
b. Adjust belt tension if slipping.
THE DISPLAYS OF THE CONSOLE DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY a. Check or replace console batteries.
b. Check Reed Switch and Magnet alignment.
